Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
Welcome to Partiitrip. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Partiitrip web app and associated services available at partiitrip.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Partiitrip ("we", "us", "our"), a business based in England. If you have any questions, you can reach us at contact@partiitrip.com.
1. What Partiitrip Is
Partiitrip is a group trip companion web app designed for trip organisers and their guests. It is a progressive web app (PWA) - no download or app store installation is required. It runs in your browser.
Features available through the Service include:
- Trip itinerary planning and sharing
- Expense tracking and splitting with receipt uploads
- Group polls
- Interactive trip map
- Group notes
- Welcome pack PDF generation
- AI-powered activity suggestions
- In-app contact with a trip guide (where applicable)
Features may change during the early access period. We will do our best to communicate significant changes.
2. Who Can Use the Service
The Service is available to individuals aged 18 or over, and to businesses and operators who agree to these Terms. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
There are two main types of users:
- Organisers - people who create a trip, pay for access, and manage the trip experience for their group.
- Members - people who join a trip via a shared link provided by an organiser. Members do not need to create an account.
We also offer a subscription product for stag/hen operators and travel companies ("Operators") who manage trips on behalf of their clients. Operator access is governed by these Terms along with any additional terms agreed at the point of subscription.
3. Access and PIN-Based Sign-In
Organisers sign in using an email address and a PIN. There is no traditional password system. You are responsible for keeping your PIN secure. Do not share your PIN with anyone else.
Members join trips using a shared link. Depending on the trip setup, members may use a PIN to access the trip. Members do not need to provide an email address unless they choose to.
If you believe your access has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@partiitrip.com.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
- Upload, share or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or harassing
- Use the Service to harass, threaten or impersonate any person
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another user's trip
- Use automated tools to access or extract data from the Service without our written permission
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable or impair its functioning
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these rules.
5. Payments and Pricing
Partiitrip offers the following pricing plans during the current early access period:
- Per-trip access - a one-time payment of £49 per trip, available to individual organisers.
- Operator subscription - £299 per month, available to stag/hen operators and travel companies who need to manage multiple trips.
Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. All payments are processed through our third-party payment provider. We do not store your card details.
Because we are in early access, pricing may change. We will give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect and existing paid trips will not be affected mid-trip.
Per-trip payments are non-refundable once the trip has been created and access granted, unless the Service is materially unavailable. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing month. You may cancel a subscription at any time to prevent future charges.
6. Expense Tracking - Important Disclaimer
Partiitrip includes tools to help groups track shared expenses and split costs. These tools are for organisational convenience only. Partiitrip is not a financial service, a payment processor, or a regulated financial product of any kind.
We do not transfer, hold, or process money on your behalf. Any financial settlements between group members are entirely your own responsibility. We are not liable for disputes, errors, or losses arising from how expense data is entered, calculated, or acted upon.
Always verify expense calculations independently before settling up.
7. AI Suggestions - Important Disclaimer
The Service includes AI-generated activity and itinerary suggestions. These are provided as inspiration only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, safety, or suitability of any AI-generated suggestion.
You are solely responsible for verifying any activity, venue, or recommendation before booking or attending. AI suggestions should not be relied upon without independent research.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload or create through the Service, including trip notes, photos, receipts, and itinerary details ("User Content").
By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your group.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not violate the rights of third parties or breach these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The Partiitrip name, logo, design, software, and all original content on the platform are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.
10. Data and Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Notice explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Notice.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure including Supabase (database) and Cloudflare (hosting and delivery). Use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or failures of third-party services, though we take reasonable steps to select reliable providers.
12. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided during an early access period and may be updated, changed, or temporarily unavailable from time to time.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where possible, we will give advance notice of significant changes.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of the Service - including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or disruption to events.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email (if we hold your email address) or by a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
